• 2021, December. Chaitra Surugihalli graduated with a Doctoral degree in Animal Sciences. Chaitra is currently working as a Manufacturing Scientist at Enzo Life Sciences, Inc.

• 2021, August. Christine Zhang started medical school at University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas. 

• 2021, May. Tabitha Gregory graduated with a Master of Science degree in Animal Sciences. Tabitha took up the Academic Program Coordinator position at the Dept. of Animal and Avian Sciences, University of Maryland, following her graduation. 

• 2019, June. Chaitra Surugihalli (doctoral student) won the first place in the Energy and Macronutrient Metabolism area of the emerging leaders oral-poster competition at the annual American Society of Nutrition conference held at Baltimore, MD!

• 2019, May. Christine Zhang (undergraduate researcher) was selected as one of the outstanding undergraduates at University of Maryland, to the Maryland Summer Scholars Program (MSS).
